Flickr is a photo sharing web site that allows the users to post up to a maximum of 2GB of photos a month. The site first create by Ludicorp in winter of 2004.
The company was token over by Yahoo and the site was transfered from its Canada base to the United State in one week. Along with its transfer Yahoo changed the programing to a new Gama style that changed the design along with the logo of the company to Flickr Gama, which was later changed to Flickr LOVES YOU. Flickr's appeal is its accessibility to Bloggers and allows photos to be tagged with key words that could be searched for other pictures that relate to the tagged pictures.
